Friday I went to CRUX! Which I loved, I always miss it when I can't make it. I got to hang out afterward and just relax it was a good way to end the work week. I previously had plans for Sat but they had been canceled and the only thing I wanted to do was got to the Bayou City Art Festival. So what I did was...
Saturday:
Watched Monsters vs Aliens with Melissa, Noelia and Adam, we LOVED it!
Meet up with: Rae, Chris, DD, Jr. Mac, Jeremy & Mr. Gilder to go to the Bayou City Art Festival. The guys were all late cause of an activity at the church (men only). We all split up into small groups. It was so much FUN! I love walking around and talking to the artist. We meet up for lunch. Jeremy and Mr. Gilder had left already. After we ate Rae & DD went to get a photo Rae feel in love with. The rest of us decided to sit for a bit at some tables we found and just relax. It was so nice and peaceful, I enjoyed it soooo much. After that point I lost track of time.
We left the Festival and went to drop of the work of art at Rae's house (saw the photo and it's beautiful); from there Casa Ole' for food. Then we went to Pearland for Gelatos. I was soooo looking forward to finally getting to try Gelatos (I've been trying to for like a year). Anyways the place was closed! We all started laughing, it was funny that we had just driven 20mins for nothing... so we settled for Marble Slab right by Casa... yes we did drive all the way back. lol On the way to Marble Slab I stopped by my brother's house so that he could meet Travis (Noe's Friend). It's funny to think that ten years ago I was Noe's age, actually it's kinda scary. Anyways, after ice cream we went to a late movie, we saw Mall Cop. Then home after midnight.
Sunday was also a full packed day. I went to church that morning then home to eat and off to study group (which is already a fun way to spend a Sunday after noon :/). After which I rushed home to help clean before company came over. A friend of Noe's came to have dinner with the family and to meet the folks. It was so cute and I'm so happy I was part of it.
So that was my good weekend. It was so much fun and I'm really thankful for the down time. After a good weekend I was hopeful for a good week... time to wake up from that one.
Monday:
Work was specially stressful and everyone was very rude. Some people were worse than others. We only had 2 more days of the end of year inventory so everyone uses that as a reason to treat people badly. After 8 hours of that I left work and went to school... Nothing to eventful happened at school just to same old classes given by the same Professors. After school I decided to stay at school and study with a classmate to study for a test we have next week. We realized that we weren't gonna have much time and we were hungry so we went to Denny's and studied till 11:30pm, I didn't get home till around 12:30am and Baby Adam was mad cause I hadn't played with him so I had to play with him for a bit... Point being that I only slept about 5 hours.
Tuesday:
The last day of inventory, YAY! Finally it's over!... but it did not go down with out a fight. Talk about a long day. Attitudes were worse than the day before, and tension was higher too. Everyone on the edge of their seats waiting to see what we would finish at for the, month, quarter and even year (fiscal year). Then when I get to school I realized that the assignment that I spent Sunday afternoon working on was incorrect!!! I had not done the calculations a classmate did them. SO I had to correct it all and was 30mins late to class and another classmate was upset with me cause I didn't have it completed and that I had changed so much cause she wanted to compare it with hers. Since I had changed all my numbers the paragraph we had written was no longer valid. It really bothered me that she would get so upset at me for finding mistakes when she didn't go to the Sunday study group, and that she didn't try to do it herself she just took the answers we worked to get. WHATEVER! I'm so done helping people that won't help themselves. I didn't stay and study Tuesday cause I needed sleep more than anything. So I finally got to bed early but couldn't sleep at all, of course.
I'm looking forward to... April!
